Website Accessibility and Ongoing Compliance
The website will be designed and developed to conform, to the extent reasonably practicable and within the agreed project scope, to the applicable Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards in effect as of the website’s final completion date.
Following launch, the Client will be responsible for maintaining the website’s ongoing accessibility and compliance. This includes, but is not limited to, updates to website content, media, functionality, plugins, integrations, third-party tools, and other changes made after completion.
Because accessibility standards, browsers, assistive technologies, and third-party services may change over time, continued compliance after the completion date is not included in the initial project fee. The Developer does not guarantee that the website will remain compliant following subsequent changes or modifications made by the Client or third parties.
At the Client’s request, the Developer may review and update the website to address applicable changes to WCAG standards for a one-time fee of $99 per compliance update review. This fee applies only to updates within the original project scope. Any substantial redesign, new functionality, third-party service changes, or additional work will be quoted separately.
