Is the competitor comparison really free?
Yes. There is no card and no account. The side-by-side results show right away; the full list of problems on your own site only asks for your name and email.
How do you compare the two websites?
We run Google PageSpeed Insights, the same test Google uses, on both sites at the same moment on a test phone: phone speed, accessibility, best practices and SEO basics, plus how long each page takes to show its content. Testing both at once keeps the comparison fair.
Will my competitor know I compared our sites?
No. The test is a normal visit from Google's test phone, the same as any other visitor. Your competitor gets no message and nothing tells them who ran it.
Why do the numbers change a little each time?
Speed depends on the network and on the servers at that moment, so scores can move a few points between tests. A difference of 10 points or more, or a full second of loading time, is a real difference.
