Accessibility statement
Our commitment to an accessible website, built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Our commitment
WebsiteTek is committed to digital accessibility for people of all abilities. Accessibility is not just something we build into client projects; we hold this website to the same standard. We continually work to improve the experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards as the Site evolves.
Conformance status
This website has been designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone, including older users and people using assistive technology. We test the Site's pages against these guidelines using automated tools and manual review.
What we have built in
- A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure on every page
- Text and interactive elements that meet WCAG's minimum color-contrast requirements
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
- A responsive, mobile-friendly layout that works across phone, tablet, and desktop, and at different zoom and text-size settings
- Support for reduced-motion preferences: animations are removed when your device asks for less motion, and moving content pauses on hover and focus
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages linked to the field, and an error summary after a failed submission
- Descriptive link text and properly labeled navigation regions
Accessibility menu
Every page has an accessibility menu: the navy button with a gold edge in the bottom-left corner on computers and tablets, the "Accessibility menu" link at the bottom of every page, or Alt + A on a keyboard. It lets you adjust the site to your needs, in four tabs:
- Quick fixes: one-tap profiles for Seizure safe, Low vision, Focus mode, Easier reading, Keyboard only, Screen reader, and Larger and clearer. You can combine them.
- Text: text size, page zoom, line spacing, letter spacing, an easy-read font, marked headings and links, and text alignment
- Color: dark, light, and high contrast, bold, grayscale, or soft colors, and your own text, heading, and background colors
- Navigate: jump to any page or any heading on the current page, a reading line, a reading window, a visible focus outline, stop motion, hide images, and mute sound
The menu is built into this website. It loads no outside service and does no tracking, and your settings are saved only in your own browser, so they follow you from page to page on this device. You can hide the button for the rest of your visit from inside the menu; press Alt + A or use the "Accessibility menu" link at the bottom of any page to bring it back.
The menu is an extra convenience. It does not replace accessible design: the site itself is built to be usable without it.
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time fix. As we add or update pages, we re-test them with automated auditing tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks before publishing.
Compatibility
This Site is designed to work with current web browsers and commonly used assistive technologies, such as screen readers. If you are using older or unsupported software and run into a problem, please let us know; it helps us prioritize fixes.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this Site, we want to hear about it. Please contact us with the page and a description of the issue, and we will work to address it.
